Lightwave g2 mtn Tent The g2 mtn is our definitive mountain trekking tent – a three-pole geodesic tent with a large porch area (supported by a fourth pole) made from the strongest lightweight fabrics available. It is lighter and easier to pitch than a comparable-sized four-pole mountain tent, with a porch that allows cooking during bad weather. Although a mountain trekking tent as opposed to a true mountaineering tent, it might nevertheless be considered our most specialist model; actually, it is probably the most versatile. It will never compete with our extremely light ultra tents for low weight, but it will outlast them and offer a great balance of space and toughness in a single package at a reasonable weight. A four-pole tunnel tent, it is enormous when you consider it barely weighs 4 kg: it sleeps three people comfortably, four at a squeeze. You can cook in the vestibule in all conditions. An extremely durable tent, the t3 arctic is ideal for base camp use in the wildest parts of the world, in mountainous regions and above the snowline (the red flysheet version comes with snowflaps as standard). Lightwave t2 arctic Tent The t2 arctic is a spacious two-person, three-pole tunnel tent with an extended vestibule. The three-pole construction maximises stability and resistance to side winds and achieves an inner/flysheet separation that makes the t2 arctic not only Lightwave's strongest but also their most weatherproof tunnel tent as well. The inner is roomy enough for three, but usually it is more comfortable for two, particularly in extended camping stays or in winter conditions (the red flysheet version includes snow flaps).
